About Thyme

This is a page in process, a business in the planning, the fledgling project of mine that has been on my mind for quite a few years now and is now beginning to evolve as a hard copy business plan.

The Crystal Horn is becoming a wine & coffee house with desserts and deli style luncheon items available. Pizza on the weekends and fine dining, by appointment only one evening a week. My heritage is Swedish so the style is Swedish summerhouse, the exterior the familiar red and white while the interior will be white and wood with a hygge atmosphere. My retail space will reflect the Swedish and Northern land we live in here in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula.

I am currently a student at Les Cheneaux Culinary School and I can’t wait to apply many of the aspects that I am learning, building upon the base of the years of experience that I have in cooking, gardening, using farm fresh fruits, vegetables and meats to create meals bursting full of freshness and taste.
